Who We Are:

Founded in 2023, Closing The Digital Divide Technical Institute was established with a clear mission: "Closing the digital divide through world-class training." Recognizing the increasing importance of digital literacy and technological skills in today's rapidly evolving world, the Institute was born with the goal of empowering individuals, particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds, to build a brighter future through education and training. Located at 164 Katherine Street, Barlow Park, Pinmil Farm, Sandton, our campus provides a secure, peaceful, and conducive environment for learning. The serene surroundings contribute to a focused atmosphere, ensuring that students can fully immerse themselves in their studies. In our inaugural year, we proudly graduated our first cohort of 20 students, all of whom completed the Basic Computing Skills program. This milestone marked the beginning of our journey towards bridging the digital gap for underrepresented communities. With 5 IT courses already registered under MICTSETA, the Institute is poised for expansion, actively working towards adding more specialized IT programs, as well as business courses accredited by QCTO. Our offerings are designed to provide cutting-edge, relevant skills that align with the demands of the modern job market. As a private institution, we are committed to uplifting the lives of disadvantaged youth by actively participating in the Youth Employment Service (YES) Program. Through this initiative, we provide opportunities for young people to gain the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the digital age. At Closing The Digital Divide Technical Institute, we believe in the transformative power of education, and we are dedicated to equipping our students with the tools they need to succeed in the technology-driven world.
